Job Responsibilities

  • Assist driller in performing drilling operations (add/remove drill rods, install casings, change bits, etc.)
  • Mobilize/demobilize equipment
  • Set up drill site
  • Operate equipment (backhoe, water truck, rod truck, crew truck, etc.)
  • Sample preparation
  • Mix drilling fluids
  • Haul materials to the drilling location
  • Fuel equipment
  • Service and maintain vehicles
  • Housekeeping of drill site and equipment
  • Work as a team in challenging situations with a variety of personalities

Qualifications

  • Successfully passed a pre-employment drug screen, background check, physical and functional capacity test, and pulmonary function test
  • Good driving record with a valid license; CDL class Bn license preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Able to crawl, squat, and carry materials for extended periods
  • Able to lift 100 pounds repetitively
  • Able to work at varying heights
  • Able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions including in harsh weather and remote locations
  • Able to work long hours (up to 12-14 hours per day)
  • Willing to travel for 14 days at a time with rotating schedules
